Why not support/sponsor Ian Darler B.E.M in The Big Fish Off 2025 via
https://cufoundation.enthuse.com/cf/the-big-fish-off Following the success of The Big Fish Off 2024 challenge that raised £2,000 for CPSL Mind, the challenge has again been set by Kevin Johnson of CB Groundworks & Construction Ltd & Cambridge United Foundation in partnership with Ian’s Cambridge Charity Fundraisers Kevin said ‘I know Ian Darler B.E.M likes a charity challenge and following the success of the 2024 BIG FISH OFF it would be a shame not to try to beat last year’s total and help more charities in 2025’ The 2025 challenge takes place on Thursday 11th September: 1. The fundraising target is £6,000. 2. The challenge is for Ian to catch 75KG (average weight of a human weighing around 12 stone (168lbs)) of fish in 12 hours. There will be an independent verifier onsite throughout the event to confirm the weight of fish caught. Kevin said ‘My pledge is that if the fundraising page hits £5,000, I will add another £1,000, and if Ian catches 100KG of fish that's an incredible 15 stone 10lbs (220lb), I will add a further £500. The 6 charities that will benefit equally from funds raised are: Cambridge United Foundation, Little Buds, East Anglia Children’s Hospices (E.A.C.H), CPSL Mind, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity & Wood Green animal shelter. Ian said ‘I know every pound raised can make a difference and I look forward to taking on the challenge, and hopes the public will get behind this latest charity event, as it will help 6 very worthy local charities who work so hard to help individuals and families in the Cambridgeshire community.’ Sponsor Ian’s challenge https://cufoundation.enthuse.com/cf/the-big-fish-off
