Cambridge Charity Fund Raisers would like to thank all the sponsors that have helped raise substantial funds over the past twelve years for both local and national charities.
There are a number of people I need to thank personally for their continued support firstly Mr Jon Stump of Mick George Limited I first met Jon when I secured the shirt sponsorship deal with him at Cambridge United and a friendship developed. Mick George Ltd have now sponsored our events for a number of years and in return CCFR donate funds to Jon when he undertakes his own personal fund raising campaigns without companies like Mick George Ltd we would not be able to support so may worthwhile charities. THE AIM OF CCFR IS ALWAYS TO HELP CHANGE PEOPLE'S LIVES FOR THE BETTER. Alan Woods of AJW Distribution Ltd has supported CCFR for a number of years with sponsorship and also supported the sale of the children's book Flash's new glasses by selling the publication at his trade show events. Andrew Aspinall of A.R.Aspinall & Sons Ltd has also been a sponsor of the past four sporting diners Steve Glover of GGVS Tim & Sid Cooper of Coopers Trophies have been the trophy sponsor of all the CCFR fishing events for the past twelve years again we are very grateful for all the support. Dominic Deer and former employee at Frimstone Ltd Colin Faiers for the support the company showed in the early days of CCFR Paul Dean of P.S.Dean Roofing for both his financial support and hands on help over the past decade. Homebase for the support they have given in the past with donations of picture frames that enables us to have the signed sporting memorabilia items framed. Simpers Ltd for the loan of tables , chairs, cuttlery etc that has saved the hire fee on the equipment Paul Mumby of Sign-Art who produced our charity signs at no cost to CCFR Clare and James German along with Alex Bates at Rookery Waters fishery who have supported CCFR for five years by offering the lakes, cafe etc for our fishing events. Valerie Graves again who has donated her fishing lake to us to raise funds for charity events Royston & District AC who have been supporters of CCFR for over a decade Andrew Carruthers of Hi-Tech security print who has produced our event tickets for all the sporting diners over the past decade. Jason Stearn of Falcon Print who very kindly assist with the printing of our event programs Gary Reynolds of GRT Print Solutions, Gary has donated so much time ,effort and money supporting all the sporting diners with the production of our program Gary has the patience of a saint as I am chasing him for weeks before our events adding adverts changing wording etc and nothing is ever to much trouble. Gary has simply been outstanding in his support towards CCFR. Kingspan insulated panels for their contribution towards the sporting dinners I would like to thank the anglers that have attended our annual fishing series for the past 12 years who also sponsor some of the events finally a big thank you to everybody who has helped at our events both on the day and by collecting raffle prizes etc. We as a group are now in the process of confirming our next charity event and looking for sponsors and auction / raffle prizes so if any companies have anything they can donate as prizes or auction items please contact us we would be pleased to give you some coverage as a thank you.
