Here is an exciting update from Sponsor a Puppy to brighten your day. Barney is making great progress with his Puppy Raiser, Jean. He’s beginning to learn the cues ‘sit’, ‘stay’ and ‘down’ and is making fabulous progress with these. Jean has also been working on Barney’s food manners. She can place some kibble on the floor while Barney patiently waits for the ‘okay’ cue before eating it. He really enjoys going on free runs, especially with Jean’s rehomed dog, Thomas.  Cambridge Charity Fundraisers are pleased to announce that some of the money raised during 2018 has been put towards sponsoring a guide dog for the next two years, The puppy Eve is seen in the attached photo's aged six weeks old. This is the third time that CCFR have supported the Guide Dogs as well as helping out the association with a training venue at Cambridge United's Abbey Stadium on match days as the trainers teach the puppies how to deal with various noise's and distractions. Further updates of Eve's training will follow in 2019.  |
