Charity Gift for outstanding work

Since the start of virus situation 18 months ago I had seen a lady everyday walking between the villages of Histon and Cottenham on my journey in to work.
 
So what you may say but this lady had been collecting the litter that had been thrown in to hedgerows, footpaths etc
 
I had seen the ever increasing amount of litter the lady had been picking up on a daily basis come rain, sun or snow.
 
I became so impressed by what an amazing job that she had done over an 18 month period that I felt that she deserved a small thank you.
 
So I made the decision to stop on the way to work last week and offer a small gift to the lady for the outstanding work she had done over a prolonged period.
 
I stopped and spoke to the lady who I now know as Kathleen and said that CCFR had a small gift of a couple of boxes of chocolates for the outstanding work she had done in keeping the country side so clean and tidy it was so nice to be able to offer a small gift for somebody who cared about her community and put a smile on her face.
