Click Here to Donate The walk continues but due to unforeseen circumstances I have not been able to as many steps completed as I would have hoped.
I have now completed 318,537 steps up to the 12th April. Special thanks to everybody who has donated Kai Barrett, Paul Revers, Nick Wallace, Kevin Johnson, Pat and everybody who contributed at the CB Groundworks charity football match. The money raised currently stands at £1625 and this will help so many people who are looking for help. I must thank the match referee Darren Drysdale and his team at the Cambridge United V Charlton Athletic fixture who kindly walked a few steps with me before the game. Darren Drysdale supported my previous London to Qatar walk and it generated conversations from the supporters at the stadium with them asking all sorts of questions? Why was the REF walking with you? Was there a problem with the pitch, was there a leaking irrigation head just a couple of examples? But when I told the supporters why I was walking with all the match officials there response was amazing, Yes match referees and officials are human and several have been supportive of the mental health awareness we have been promoting. Thanks to Carl Badcock for taking the photos with the match officials. Thanks again to everybody for your support. Ian Darler B.E.M
